Ronaldo sent off as Al Hilal reach final
Al Hilal reached the Saudi League final after beating Al Nassr 2-1 in the semi-final on Tuesday, with Cristiano Ronaldo sent off for the visitors.
Odion Ighalo put Al Hilal ahead in the first half, with Luciano Vietto equalising for Al Nassr after the break. However, Salem Al-Dawsari scored the winner for Al Hilal in the 72nd minute.
The result means that Al Hilal will now face either Al Batin or Al Feiha in the final, while Al Nassr's hopes of winning the league title are over.
Ronaldo was shown a straight red card in the 90th minute for a late tackle on Al Hilal's Ali Al-Boleahi.
The sending-off was Ronaldo's first since joining Al Nassr in January and it will come as a blow to the team's hopes of winning the league title.
