Essence Studios Unveils Film Festival Lineup for 2024 Event
Tickets for the ESSENCE Festival of Culture Are Now on Sale
Essence Studios, the production company behind the annual ESSENCE Festival of Culture, has announced the lineup for its inaugural film festival. The WEB ESSENCE Film Festival will take place during the 2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 28th to July 2nd. The festival will showcase a diverse array of films by Black filmmakers, including documentaries, feature films, and short films. Submissions are now open for filmmakers to submit their work for consideration.
The ESSENCE Festival of Culture is the largest cultural event in the United States for Black women and families. The festival celebrates Black culture through music, fashion, beauty, food, and empowerment. This year's festival will feature performances by Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and Kevin Hart, among others. Tickets for the festival are now on sale.
