Ronnie O'Sullivan To Defend Saudi Arabia Title
Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan is set to defend his Saudi Arabia title next month.
The Rocket, as O'Sullivan is nicknamed, won the inaugural Saudi Arabia Masters in January 2023.
He beat Vladimirs Siņicins 5-0 in the final in Diriyah, near Riyadh.
O'Sullivan won the tournament despite arriving in the country just hours before his first match.
He had been due to play the week before in the Scottish Open but pulled out at the last minute due to illness.
O'Sullivan Faces Tough Competition
O'Sullivan will face stiff competition in Saudi Arabia, with a host of top players set to compete.
Judd Trump, Mark Selby, and Neil Robertson are among those who have already confirmed their participation.
The tournament will be held from February 14-18 at the Diriyah Arena.
It will be the second of three Middle East tournaments in the 2023-24 season. The other two are in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
